JOURNAL: WHAT ARE ALL THE PRACTICAL REASONS WHY YOU BELIEVE YOU CANNOT BE A MOTHER RIGHT NOW? LIST OUT EVERY LITTLE THING, LET IT FLOW.
DIVE IN: PICK ONE REASON AND DECONSTRUCT IT. IS THIS REASON TRUE? IS THERE ANOTHER POSSIBILITY? IS THERE A DIFFERENT SOLUTION? WHAT DO I NEED TO BELIEVE (ABOUT MYSELF) FOR THIS TO BE TRUE? WHERE HAVE I LEARNED THIS? DO I HAVE PROOF OF THE OPPOSITE? IF THE OPPOSITE IS TRUE WHY DO I NOT BELIEVE I AM WORTHY / DESERVING OF IT?
EXAMPLE: I do not have a partner, therefore I cannot be a mother. > I could become a mother through adoption. I could meet a partner today and get pregnant soon. > But I need to know someone for at least X amount of time, before we can have children together! > We could fall in love quickly and if he is the right person I could become a mother earlier. (Here mistrust in time & masculine energy comes in… which we cover tomorrow!) > I believe that I will not meet a person that will immediately be ready. > I believe that I can not trust men immediately to become parents together. > I know that person that got pregnant after X months — and they are happily together still. > Men do not fall for me quickly because I am X. When they get to know me, they find out X about me which is not lovable. (BINGO!)
REFLECT: HOW DOES THIS BELIEF SHOW UP IN YOUR REALITY? WHAT DOES IT INFLUENCE? HOW WOULD YOU BE ABLE TO SHOW UP IF THIS BELIEF WAS NOT TRUE? HOW WOULD YOU BE ABLE TO SHOW UP IF YOU EMBRACED AND ACCEPTED THAT ASPECT OF YOU THAT YOU DEEM UNWORTHY?
